This is the fifth and last movement from the original Flute Trio entitled Trio a Flauti Traversi by Johnn Quantz. The first movement is offered free on this site and each additional movements of the five will be offered in succession on this site.

This movement (Allegro) is an interesting number with beautiful runs in each of the three parts. I have recorded and suggested that a more conservative tempo be used rather than a true vivace tempo to give the feeling of a more dignified feel to the piece. It is easy to confuse this number with a Vivaldi number for the writing style is very similar.

I have adjusted the range by lowering it a fifth from the original and corrected a few mistakes in the original score.

If you are looking for individual pieces for a recital these will fill your needs and if your want to extend your performance, just add the other movements to suite your needs. Feel free to mix and match any combination of the five to fit your programming.
