This begins a new section in our listing that should become very popular. We are now beginning to transcribe some of the very best Big Band arrangements to be available for your Brass Choir.
Just as Stan Kenton experimented during his mellophonium days (early 1960s), we are now beginning to bring back that unique sound for today's Brass Choirs.
Each transcription will be carefully transcribed from the original recording with the exception of the sax section which will now be replaced by a Horn in F section, which gives your ensemble a truly Brass Ensemble sound without losing any of the original “Swing”. Even the solos are written out.
We at trumpetensemblemusic are very excited for these additions to our library and look forward to this new ensemble sound becoming popular on the music scene.
If you have a Brass Choir, just imagine the response you will get when you finish your Giovanni Gabrieli concert with a Woody Herman encore.
