This is a serious number and will require some rehearsals in order to make it flow as a single composition. It is written in a Theme and Variation form but each variation flows into the next. Everyone has a shot at the good stuff.
Within the Variation form I used a three part cannon, a homophonic Chorale, as well as counterpoint to give this piece life and contrasting sections.

For a serious concert, this would be ideal.

I would suggest that the lyrics be read before this arrangements performance to get the full impact of the original song.
