I was asked to compose a lengthy collection of trumpet duets. I’m not sure the person was interested in 10 ½ minutes of constant playing, so I wrote this collection as a series of contrasting movements which could be broken up into as many pieces as one needs. The collection contains the following section-

Swing, Dixieland, Ragtime, Old South, Circus, Gallop, Merry-Go-Round, March, Patriotic, Ballade, Bossa and Coda.
