This was written for an effect. It starts out as a big fanfare with many things going on. Towards the end, a new melody starts to creep into the mix, first very soft and buried in the arrangement. Then it begins to make itself known and finally your audience will catch on to the fact that it was a big “put on”. This is one of my favorite fanfares.
