This was requested on the TPIN site and originally I was going to send it off free but after I completed it, I was told that I had to charge the exorbitant fee for my wife came in the room and made me do it. Sorry, but it still is an incredible deal. It started as an interestingly simple decant. Then I began to wonder how good a player the requester was and then decided to write a more difficult descant. Then I decided that the requester might want to play two decants end to end. Then I thought, wouldn’t it be cool if the two decant parts were to be played as a duet. Very Cool! So this can be played as a one time through the hymn decant, a two times through descant with contrasting descants or it could be done as a descant for two trumpet players. And now I think I’ll go fishing. I hope you enjoy it, who ever you are.
